Bourbon enthusiasts unite! What are you drinking?

I mainly participate in the Blades & Bourbon thread in the General Discussion subforum but I'll answer your questions:

1) My current favorite -- everyday drinking bourbon -- is Buffalo Trace.
2) I'm not currently hunting for anything but I've got 8 bottles of Eagle Rare 10 in the rack and I'd immediately buy another 6 bottles if I run across any.
3) Nothing planned, except the 6 bottles of Eagle Rare, if I can find any more.
4) Born & raised and continue to live in California.
5) If I have the time, I'll post of pic of my current "collection."

FYI, I've purchased and tasted over 50 different bottles of bourbon over the past few years but currently have only still have about 15 different brands on hand, apart from 7 bottle of Buffalo Trace, 8 bottles of Eagle Rare and 7 bottles from the Pinhook Bourbon Vertical Series (Years 4-8) which I collect.

Nice selection Tyd.

last week I had two new ones while I was away on a work trip. several of my coworkers also enjoy bourbons so we selected as a group.
We tried TX bourbon and Wilderness Trail Bottled in Bond rye.

recommend trying both. Wilderness Trail was our favorite, but the TX was a good sipper and something different being aged in Texas.

wilderness trail rye is one of my favorites for sure. I think they are a very underrated brand!

we visited there in October of 2022, and what I tried did not stand out, but I can't recall what I did or did not taste, but I'm pretty sure there was no Rye Bottled in Bond.
I had been hearing good things about them, so we decided to give it a shot and I'll have to revisit some of their other offerings.

I'm too lazy to answer the questions... but, I started out on Bourbon. Moved to Rye. Discovered Islay Scotch.
I've had many many bourbons, if I had to pick a daily driver... it would be Four Roses small batch. Wild Turkey 101 is also wonderful, though it gives me STRANGE dreams. (Albino James Earl Jones strange...) Driftless Glen makes some FINE bourbons. Bulleit is pretty good too. The best I've had? Probably my Booker's small batch 2018-03. Better than the Pappy 15 I have. Now... when you want to start talking Rye and Islay, let me know.

I"ll talk Rye - and if they'll allow it, I'll talk about it here.
let's see how it goes
Favorite - Van Winkle Family Reserve 13 year
Daily - Old Forester Rye
Something special but not too special - Michters Rye
heavy hitter - Alberta Premium Cask Strength
generally a fan of the Whistlepig offerings too

I've had offerings from Whistle Pig and Driftless Glen. All fantastic. My daily driver for Rye is Bulleit. Makes a fine Manhattan.

Bulleit is my father in laws go to - we pretty much always have some on hand.
I have no issues with it at all.

also, I'll throw out New Riff too - their Rye BiB is pretty good and some of their single barrel offerings are off the charts

Pikesville, Sazerac, Knob Creek Rye, the one I probably drink most is the Russell's Reserve Rye. Have a few Whistlepigs but don't care much for em

i picked up a Frey Ranch Four Grain Bourbon this weekend - first time seeing it here in Virginia.
haven't opened it yet.
