You sure bro? I'm starting to feel guilty. How about I make one of these up for you at the show, and one to sell at the show, and do your second one when I get home?

Well, too bad. I've got both pieces of Ironwood cut, flattened, and glued to wood. I'll show them off at Blade if you don't mind though.
 
Andy, are you using wood now for the BLC?? If so, I feel a change order coming. Say, bocote BLC:D
 
I charged $100 for the upgrade. Flattening a piece of wood that big is a lot of work. Plus, the larger the piece, the greater the force on movement.

I can tell you that they have had their handles filed to shape, and are ready for sanding. I can also attest to the gorgeos nature of the Ironwood on them.
 
I sent you an email that asked for a bow legged chopper to match the Bow Legged Joe that you are working up for me in the Blue Micarta.

Not sure of the number, but like the BLJ, no hurries, no worries....
 
Yes. I got it. The choppers move through the shop slowly. It takes forever to do one, and I go through 3 or so batches to get a couple through. Thats why it takes so long.
 
Andy - I originally said I wanted a large Muk in matching glow scales and tube to go with my bow legged chopper, but now I'm thinking the smaller Muk would fit my needs better, so if you could change that out, that would be great.

Also, If you have a rough idea how long it'll be, it will help me figure out when I need to start putting some pesos aside. No rush at all, just trying to get my ducks in a row.
 
I'd say we're still a way out on this order due to the BLC. Those take so long and dessimate my belt stock, which also takes planning. Now that the show, and AG Russell's Nessies are off the bench, I'm going to focus on orders. I'll let you know when I start them.

Can anyone comment on the answer to this question? I'm interested as well. I was also looking into a Koster Monster Nessie, but based on the number of restless natives over in Dan's forum, man-oh-man does that ever look like a dangerous gamble. I feel safe putting my money and trust in Andy's camp.

Looks like we missed out Jason.I thought about putting an order in,but couldn't commit.
Oh well,you snooz you loose.
 
If I can ever get this run done (these things take half a week to make) I'll post some for sale on the open forum.
