Joe - looked at both these knives - really really nice work - I will definately keep an eye out for you on the sale forums. The damascus hunter really caught my eye.
 
Okay, guys. what is it going to take to move this bowie? I have added the OBO to the ad and will entertain all REASONABLE offers.

It reminded me of Bill Bagwell's Hell Belle designed bowies (I would love to own one of Bill's but can't afford at this stage but do own the Ontario version). Joe had sent me more detailed specifications for this bowie. Apparently it balances right at the name stamp. It sort of falls between my Cold Steel Laredo and Natchez in many dimensions - respective dimensions or Laredo, this blade, Natchez - blade length 10 1/2 inches, 11 1/4 inches, 11 3/4 inches - OAL 15 11/16 inches, 16 3/4 inces, 17 1/8 inches -
and all three I believe are 5/16 inch in blade thickness. Joe didn't have a scale to weigh this bowie but I hope and suspect it is lighter than both the Laredo and the Natchez. It sure looks nice with that stag handle. I look forward to comparing it to my Ontario Bagwell Hell's Belle.
