I didn't want to pig pile on somebody else's threads, why sometimes, rarely I can be downright civilized.

Earlier today I reported the arrival of a pristine triangle box. It was kind of a surprise cause I didn't really know where auntie was gonna send it and I just assumed home but the dear sweet lady sent it to work which I prefer since I get to see em sooner and also they don't languish on the front porch where miscreants might be tempted to sin and steel bawanna's stuff.

A few pictures to excite the adrenal glands and appease the apparitions who watch over Bowies.

The four I received today and my original first version at the bottom.

These are all Bhakta's and all very very good. Not a slouch in the bunch. My oldest had to look for a long time to pick out his favorite, all so good, it was hard to choose.
Got one for two sons and the son in law and one for myself, thanks to a buddy right here.

And while I was taking pictures I took some shots of my little Bura (yeah Bura) Hunters. I was blessed to get a mint one from Kismet and then as if that weren't good enough Steely offered me one of his so I could keep the mint one mint.
Darn nice little knives.

And of course new grandpa's never pass up an opportunity to show off the granddaughter and her cute little hat, I really dig it. Actually the whole motley crew since I figured out how to push a button and the camera goes off all by it's lonesome in about 10 seconds give or take, all this technology, I'm turning into a geek.

She's about 4 months. Happy little kid. You got a ton of fun ahead of you.

Ahhhhhhh! Id pig pile on that!
7 weeks! Dang Congrats in order fzr! Yep your just getting started. I just had a housefull of grand daughters and a new grandson 1 year old now. Hes already trying the doorknob? Every day is something different and exciting! Enjoy it man! Tomorrow will be something different and then soon hell be chopping your firewood with 20" AK!
Love the family photo Bawanna! Shes a cutie for sure! Love the hat!

What a GREAT collection. And the knives are awesome too! :D

Seriously I gotta say the little one looks cuter and cuter which is pretty hard cause she started off pretty darn cute... and I really usually am kind of a "eh, kids" sort of gal. Why you even got Daisy corralled long enough to get the picture too. FZR, Congrats!! At that age I think Confused is sort of going to get worse for a while, but people I know who actually have kids tell me that eventually they do sleep for longer than 30 seconds a night. Couldn't prove it by any I have met that age, but then they always seem to turn out ok in the long run so I think the odds are in your favor :D

Awesome knives buddy! You have a lovely family, I can sense the love and warmth just by the obvious positive energy in the room. Thanks for sharing and I love that stag handled beauty. Willing to trade anything for it? :D

very cool man, love the stag, I love those hunter knives , I bought a group from kismet shortly before you got yours from steely and kis, they are great skinning knives, camera still broke or I would show mine off :(

really like the stag on that bowie !!

What a great collection! When it comes to bowie knifes, usually id prefer larger blades, but these short versions seem extraordinary sturdy and massive, even in smaller scale....! I love to see this collection, its very nice that handle materials vary from piece to piece,i like most the stag horn handle material! Thank you for sharing this beautiful collection with us.....! Really nice pictures

He has been a life changer so far, and it gets better everyday!

When you lay the little guy down someplace and come back in 5 minutes and he ain't there, thats the life changing moment right there.
Your life will never be the same and most of the time that's not a bad thing. There will come the day when you have to check the driveway for cars to see if your kids are home or not.

Daisy the Terrorier is super jealous of Shaylin. Most of the time holding her she wants to be in my lap too. They seem to get along ok, don't think Shaylin really knows what the hairy beast is just yet but she's infactuated with her.

And gurkha, I don't think there's anything I'd trade my first bowie for, can't think of a thing or any amount of money.
If it saved a life, or brought world peace, I might ponder it but it still would be a tough thing for me to do.
It's perfect!

Geat pix and post, thank you for sharing

Great pic brother, what a great family you have there and the little one is just gorgeous. I would have a time picking out the best one there as well, some fine steel man.

Dude! I just noticed you have a whole cow on your living room floor:eek: Dont look Pugs! Its really just one of them plactic magic fiber things:rolleyes:

Funny thing that cow, we have another hanging on the wall to the right.

We got it in Reno at the big Rodeo, same trip where I was blessed to meet Auntie in person.

It was in the van. I know the cows are considered sacred over there to many and I was worried sick that I would offend. I even studied up a little on traditional greetings, namaste, etc, I really didn't want to offend. Made my day when Auntie returned namaste and then handshake and hug. I was sooooo happy.

Even my wife mentioned it as we were leaving. I've seen photos of Pemba and Randy cutting meat at Aunties so I assume it was beef. I hope my worries were unwarranted but I think of it to this day.

Good eye.

Shaylin is blocking my 45 and my left arm is hiding my bawanna bowie so I guess other than the rug I was politically correct that day.

Well the boys made their Bowie picks so beings it was super cold and I'm still moving a tad bit slow I decided to spend a little time with it today.
Only got one side cut so far on the handle, long ways to go. Tried something a little different, kind of have skip, half full checkering.
I got some idea's to dress up the little band separating the two but I'm gonna keep that under me hat till I get r dun.

And for any non believers I discovered a honest to goodness miracle. The right hand sheath Pugs made me fits this knife like it grew around it, perfectly which although I haven't tried it yet means the left hand sheath will also fit perfectly. I mean perfectly too, not close, not good enough, I mean first class fit. Made my day and I'm sure Pugs is breathing a sigh of relief too.

Sadly I didn't get this side checkered yet but I will in time.
