My first Scandi grind and boy, this thing is sharp!!!!
Really nice thick leather sheath and a perfect size for a camping carry. Going to try and go camping just to use this knife!

They're special knives, on so many levels, I think, JonCheers Jack...I was going to give it to my youngest for 19th...he got a wetsuit instead ...if he needs a blade for camping he knows who to call...I showed it to a couple of mates...older guys who have done a bit of hunting in their time...they were impressed ...price wise and the fact that it arrived from The Ukraine..
Yay!OUT FOR DELIVERY! shipped 43 days ago but they are here....almost. as long as there is not a signature required ill have them tonight. Did anyone else that got theirs have to sign for it? I remember reading someone had to.
I'm in the US and I had to sign for mine. With the tracking number on the USPS website you might be able to 'sign' for it, although once it's 'Out for Delivery', like yours, I have no idea if it would work.OUT FOR DELIVERY! shipped 43 days ago but they are here....almost. as long as there is not a signature required ill have them tonight. Did you get the Kiridashi? I'm sorely tempted.I also got an all-steel (no handle scales) neck knife with a straight edge. Very inexpensive, mostly got it out of curiosity.
I think thats what it was called. Kinda cool.Did you get the Kiridashi? I'm sorely tempted.
The 90 degree spines are a definite plus for meBPS Amazon store had my 2 knives in my hands in days.
First is the Scandi grind, puuko-like knife like the one in the OP. I like it, but it needs the corners on the back of the blade radiused. I don’t do ferro rods enough to put up with sharp edges on the back of the blade. Other than that, it seems a very decent knife and good deal, much like other puukos like Moras and so forth.

Both seem very good quality and workmanship for the money, and it feels like a good thing to support a company like this in a country going through what they are.
CongratulationsMine arrived yesterday! I will get pics up later today.
