BPS Knives of Ukraine

Also got this while I was out. As meako meako mentioned, just over a month of travel to get to me.

My first Scandi grind and boy, this thing is sharp!!!!

Really nice thick leather sheath and a perfect size for a camping carry. Going to try and go camping just to use this knife!

Hats off BPS of Ukraine!

Congratulations Ken, that's a great knife 😎 Comes with a keen edge doesn't it? 🙂👍

I came across this online, thought it was topical

"Happy Independence Day, American friends! And thank you for your support!! We're also fighting for our independence and freedom! Slava Ukraini!!"

Cheers Jack...I was going to give it to my youngest for 19th...he got a wetsuit instead ...if he needs a blade for camping he knows who to call...I showed it to a couple of mates...older guys who have done a bit of hunting in their time...they were impressed ...price wise and the fact that it arrived from The Ukraine..

They're special knives, on so many levels, I think, Jon :)

Yay! 🎉 I'm afraid I can't remember if I've had to sign for mine or not, but recent changes to the law here mean that knives are supposed to only be delivered into the hands of an adult with ID :(

I hope you get your order today :) I keep meaning to order some more knives to give to friends

I'm in the US and I had to sign for mine. With the tracking number on the USPS website you might be able to 'sign' for it, although once it's 'Out for Delivery', like yours, I have no idea if it would work.

BPS Amazon store had my 2 knives in my hands in days.
First is the Scandi grind, puuko-like knife like the one in the OP. I like it, but it needs the corners on the back of the blade radiused. I don’t do ferro rods enough to put up with sharp edges on the back of the blade. Other than that, it seems a very decent knife and good deal, much like other puukos like Moras and so forth.
I also got an all-steel (no handle scales) neck knife with a straight edge. Very inexpensive, mostly got it out of curiosity.

Both seem very good quality and workmanship for the money, and it feels like a good thing to support a company like this in a country going through what they are.

The 90 degree spines are a definite plus for me :) Useful for all sorts of things, besides striking a ferro rod (which they do really well), and extra work to make

Hope you'll post some pics
Mine arrived yesterday! I will get pics up later today.
Congratulations :)

Just put in an order for their limited edition Independence knife for support. Don't want to simply copy paste product links but it's worth a look.

Still haven't used my Adventurer this summer. It was left behind (accidentally) on my last trip. Hope to get a chance before the summer is over...
