I got my Guardian 4 from Massdrop, and the price was amazing! I usually have that in and out of my back pocket doing farm work. Works great! I also have a folding knife from Bradford, and it is also a great EDC! I did get a G6 a while ago straight from the Bradford website. Sold it, but regretted selling it.
All the knives have great blade geometry and feel very good in hand. Definitely a fan! And like you said, the people that work there, including the owner, are awesome!!

Love my Guardian 3 and the company. I usually have my knife in my pocket in a kydex sheath. I had my leather sheath in my ruck in case I wanted to wear it scout style. Well somehow I lost my leather sheath in the field. I e-mailed guardian asking about left-handed sheath options etc and he said "hey I'll send you a new leather one". Needless to say, it came to my door 3 days later. Awesome company. I swear my knife looks brand new and it is heavily used. It's insane. It is in my pocket as we speak.

Looks like a regular Guardian 3, but with a little bit more of a guard for your index finger in the choil - just like the Sheepsfoot models have.

Can't remember the % off, but I bought my G3 in 3v last BF and recall it being a helluva deal (pushed me over the edge to finally pull the trigger on one).

Thanks, I grabbed a G4 and then caved and got a G3 too!
From Bradford:
"We have been pleasantly surprised by the toughness of this material at this higher, recommended hardness (62-63 Rc). This material has been tested by cutting professionals all around the world and has quickly become a cult favorite [...] This steel is not considered "stainless" and should be maintained in a similar fashion as CPM-3V."
I know that M390 is heated to 60-62 Rc, so apparently the Vanadis steel is harder. It therefore should retain its edge better than the M390 steel, but should also be more difficult to sharpen (I'd imagine).
Haha! Sweeet. Ordered myself a G3 on black friday and it was shipped that very day. Can't wait for it to arrive. Also interested in hearing your opinion on the Vanadis steel once you've put it to some use!

The G3 is great, my 3V one is great. I will let you know how I feel about V4E, but I will admit that my EDC needs aren’t taxing. S30V is overkill for me...but that hasn’t stopped me yet!
