Bradford USA is worthy of attention

I have the G3 Wharnie M390 and use it everyday as my fixed EDC IWB. I used to carry my LT Wright but I realized that it's too small for me. Looking to sell or trade it for the regular G3

On the topic of the G3, the site lists the Sheepsfoot blade length as slightly longer than the Drop point. Can anyone verify this? Been eyeing me a sheepie but in this case shorter is better for me.
I'll set them up side by side for you when I get home tomorrow. (I do think the wharnie is a little longer...but it's been so long since I've had them both unsheathed at the same time I wouldn't swear to it.)

First the official specs:
G3 regular
Overall Length 6.75"
Blade Length 3.50"
Cutting Edge 3.00"

G3 sheepsfoot
Overall Length 7.0"
Blade Length 3.625"
Cutting Edge 3.5"

In both cases, the handle length is 3.25"
Yes, the Sheepsfoot is longer, overall; and has a slightly longer blade (note that the handle + blade numbers are off on the sheepsfoot...blade length is probably 3.725). However, the cutting edge of the regular version does not appear to be shorter than that of the sheepsfoot.

For this shot, I put a straight edge along the edge of the paper, and moved the knives up against it (perhaps not very well)

For this one, I attempted to line up the start of the cutting edge with the side of the paper

And for this one, I stood them both up on the counter...the regular version appears to have tilted slightly toward the sheepsfoot

It's clear now, the Sheepsfoot has a different, somewhat longer choil.

This will be tough for me. I love everything I'm seeing about this knife but the blade length, I'm in a 3 inch jurisdiction and 3.5 is past my comfort zone.

I missed out on their BF sale but added one to my Christmas list. I'll pick one up after the Holidays.
