Casey I am going through the exact same thing. I lost my stepdad of 24 years this week . I will keep your family in my prayers. May she walk with the angels

Prayers to your family Casey. A parent is a tough loss, but they're still watching over us & helping in the grand scheme of things.
 
One is never ready for the loss of a parent. The very best to you and yours from northern Alberta and you will be in my thoughts and prayers.
