Brand Loyalty

I wouldn't say I'm "loyal" as much as "sentimental". But then, I'm old and back when I grew up with Buck and Case and Old Timer, etc, there weren't that many nationally distributed brands.

Currently everyday carry a Spyderco, Buck, Cold Steel, and Boker (all at same time), and own many other brands, so obviously "sentimental" doesn't get even the lion's share of my $$.

I'm loyal to my family....my friends.... and in a more abstract sense to the great state of California......
Loyalty to a brand? Don't make me laugh.

I have my favorites, Kershaw, Spyderco, Cold Steel.... the bulk of my purchases are from them.... but I would drop them in a nanosecond if something better comes along.....just like they would do with me.....
 
I have a drawer full of nifty knives, such as Kershaw,Reeve,Benchmade, SOG,Case,etc....,but if there was one knife company that I am totally loyal to,it would have to be Victorinox. With Victorinox,you know what your getting and they're great value for the money.I always have one on me somewhere.....they make me smile!
