Yes, it does have the look of a brass Henry.That ebony 44 looks awesome. The Northfield in Cocobolo and brass with the bullet shield makes me think of an old Henry lever action...can't wait to get mine either.

That would look very classy. Do you think they were looking for ways to keep the weight down? These look like they have some heft to them already.If they had given this #44 a wrap-around spring for the pen secondary like the #92 Eureka jacks had, it would have been extra special. As it is, I still have ordered an ebony and a stag. I'm really stoked about the firm pulls.
