Bravo I or Bravo II

I have both, and I love both. The Bravo-1 is more of a bushcraft/ real world survival knife, while the Bravo-2 is basically a modernized Ka-Bar. The Bravo-1 is easier to tote around, and may be more practical, the Bravo-2 is more of a "knife guy's knife". It's big, it's beautiful, it's awesome. It's also one heck of a fighter, if that appeals to you. You can't go wrong with either, IMO.

...Big Mike's pic of the Bay De Noc did NOT help. I really like the looks of that beast!! :D

The Bay de Noc is one sweet package.

With its .187” A2 blade and fully contoured handle, it’s a great user.

Here’s a photo I shot while testing the edge on some frozen hardwood.

Results, the tree came down and the blade showed no ill effects.

I think Big Mike's chopping pic just bumped the Bravo to next after I find a Bay De Noc. Thanks Big Mike:thumbup: That was pic was worth a 1000 words!

Butcher- I too am fairly new BRKT, I have a Hudson Bay Camper, Aurora and a glen Eagle Axe and I am lovin ALL of them!!

Where can I get one of those Bay De Noc's. I haven't seen that pattern before and it is sweet.

I pre-ordered my custom version (with rare African Leadwood scales) from Derrick at KnivesShipFree.com.

A quick check of his site shows two left, look in the Odds & Ends Section.

Wow, those are a lot longer than they look from your picture Big Mike  Very nice lookin knife

Fonly, it seems like we do have similar tastes - I've got a Koster Bushcraft coming my way with this next production run. :) Regarding your lusting over a B1, send me an email...I have a standard B1 I could let you play around with, to help you decide.

Wow, that would be awesome man, I've got alot going on right now, so it would be a waste to try and get some use out of it, though this summer would be awesome if your still interested in doing it then.:eek:
