It's good to hear that Mike does a good job on this steel. One of my big questions is if you buy one and say a month or so later decide to put scales on it will the sheath still work?

The more and more I look at it, the more and more I want to get one....![]()
Of all the production neckers out there now, I like the look of this one most. /the grind looks better than the Izula or the BK-11, so, in the long run, I think it warrants the extra cash.
What the heck am I missing on the all the references to expense? A quick perusal indicates $69 for a knife with the option to buy scales for $40? Yes, its more money than an Izula ($20) and becker ($35) but not outrageous and cheaper than a Hest with scales.
