The stone will give you the cutting ability you are looking for :thumbup: If you work long enough and with just the right touch you don't really need to strop. I don't like to spend that much time with it for touch-up's so to speed up that final burr removal I do about 5 passes per side on hard felt with some 1 micron spray. This slightly increases the polish but does not take away from the toothyness that the diamond stone gives the edge. Its kinda hard to explain, the edge will feel very smooth to the touch but when you cut things it acts like a much coarser edge but at the same time it cuts like a 8000 grit edge.....
