I think edo period Japan was a pretty good time for rocking the Katana out in public. What state can you wear a katana ?

Maybe I might when they start making huge folders that cost more than $300.
That's just so weird with a state that has such hardcore gun laws like cali does. I'd rather be shot myself than hacked up with a blade. I've noticed that though that most knife manufacturers make folding knives with blades shorter than 4" more so than being made longer. That Medford looks nice with the 5" blade it's not cheap though and definitely over the 300.00 dollar mark. When your state law has no blade length limit, why not?

I'll keep an eye out and let you know if I run across one.If I could find that 5" Medford in stock... I'd own one.

In Arizona, you can carry a katana concealed if you can find a way to do so...[emoji106]![]()

I'm in and I think Matt would definitely be an asset to them. Can we start an official petition for Cold Steel to just straight out hire Charlie Mike? Given their respective tastes, skillsets, style and philosophies it just seems like a no-brainer at this point.

With that custom you have coming in, if you do not own one already, I recommend the Talwar. They even make an XL, and both have the Demko plate. Also with your love of autos, and CA's laws, I recommend the Ti-Lite. It fires as fast and effortlessly as an auto, (absolutely no wrist action required). And unlike Autos, it will snag da pocket too.Paid consultant.

So I have this rule... the $300 rule. I'm rarely disappointed when I abide.
If it costs less than $300, don't buy it.
I guess I should make an exception for Cold Steel folders. I already own a pair of Rajah 2 folders and I recently got a Tiger Claw folding kerambit... now I have a Spartan on order and I'm contemplating an XL Counter Point.
I feel kinda dirty... but I like it.
Rules are made to be broken Mike. Cold Steel makes a great budget product. I'd like to acquire some as users myself.
By following this rule, I keep my knife collection under 15 pieces.
