Cool picture Bryan sorry I keep giving out early info.

Thanks, BTD! Wow! I like that 4" one already! Can you send me a pic to my email when it's finished, Bryan?

Thanks!
Ron

Yes Ron I sure will. I am just gettin ready to go and put the handles on them before going to bed tonight. Then I will shape them in the morning and send you a pic. It is 8:35 pm sat. night now as I write this.

What? Knifemakers aren't supposed to sleep, you guys are just supposed to chug some more coffee and pump out some more steel! There are rules to these things...

I did not say I was going to bed to SLEEP :p But when my wife comes out
to the shop and in a black bra, thong and stockings and heels and with a
smile and a twinkle in her eye and winks and says Honey I am lonely.

Well you get the idea. Some may chug the coffee I have other ideas. :D

Bryan

Bryan,

Get outa that shop right now!!!!!!! It may be "sacrilege" to say this on a knife forum, but there ARE more important things than knives!;) And "lonely wives" top that list! :D

Oh, yeah...I'll be looking forward to seeing the pics of the Pathfinder! Heading out of here tomorrow morning for my journey home!!!!! Yeah!!!!!

Ron

Hey Ron, no that is not sacrilege we make time for each other. Iam a sucker for
stockings and knife making gets put on the back burner besides the knife grinder has to
cool down some time LOL.
Have a safe trip home and I will send you out a pic of the smaller Pathfinder/maybe I will call this one the scout.

Take care

Bryan

Bryan, it's great to see a man who has his priorities straight! My wife and I do the same...we make time for each other.

I'm truly looking forward to seeing the "Scout"! As you may have guessed, you can mark that one sold to me!

Ron

The shape of blade and handle seem to put it in a class by itself for both food and woods duty. Grrrr....looking in my empty wallet and growling...

Thanks, Bryan! I'll be in Amman, Jordan tomorrow, and will still be able to check my email then before heading for home.

Ron

Well as promised here is a few pics of the smaller Pathfinders.
One has a Orange handle and one has a Canvas micarta Brown/
tan handle. The first pic is of them both together and then a pic
of them in hand.

Tell me what you think?

Bryan

have you considered doing notches at the front of the handle for when using the knife in that grip shown in your photos? i personally rarely use the knife in that grip, i find that a ham fist grip allows me alot more control most of the time, but it seems like everyone like the thumb ramp so just wondering...

found my new bushcraft knife! I really like the looks of the shorter ones.Yeah..thumb grooves are a nice touch I would like to see.:thumbup:I prefer canvas to paper micarta. What's the price range on these knives? What about sheaths? REALLY nice looking knives!:thumbup:Will these be offered with green canvas micarta in the NEAR future?:D

Those look real nice. You definitely have a flair for what makes good field knives.

I like the short blades, and prefer them without the thumb notches actually. Probably an easily added extra though! Great work as usual man!
