Brent Cramer Knives

Here's something a bit more "Folksy" for y'all to gander at!

*3 3/4" Swell End/Teardrop pattern
*cpm 154 spear point blade with a long pull
*Halved in Ebony
*All dressed up for Christmas with a Gimp shield

Headed for L.A. in the morning  Does this seem a little too folksy for California??? Just mess'in with ya Nick! :D

Let me know what you think of my attempt at a little more traditional pattern!

Thanks again and Merry Christmas!

Very nice, Brent. I like your move into another direction/pattern.

Nice one Brent,looks great

It came out real nice Brent, can't wait to get it! Definitely cool to have something folksy here in Cali. Thanks for posting!

Great knife, Brent! An earlier pattern for sure, nicely executed.
They need a wide blade to look right, and you hit the mark bang on!!
The teardrop "dropped" out of sight for years, with possibly only Queen making it occasionally in recent times.
Traditionally suited up in Ebony duds, and a gimp, it's as folksy as it gets!

Thanks for the comments guys. I made a teardrop a while back from this pattern but the order was for more of a custom feel. When Nick order this I was happy to oblige him! I really enjoyed making this one.

Impressive! Great job Brent! You even got the leaf shaped spear blade profile right.

I think the only way to make this pattern better is to make it an easyopener. Note though that a lot of old easyopener jacks really have the easyopener scoop too far toward the tip of the main blade - they had to clear the pen blade after all - but single blade jacks don't have that problem.

Beautiful work Brent! I watching "The Untouchables" and this knife has such a traditional look that I would imagine Eliot Ness himself back in the '20s would be carrying one. Enjoy it Nick! Merry Christmas!

Great looking teardrop jack! The symetrical framed knives are a bit more difficult eh? :D

I love the look of your knife Brent. The wood, the shield, the blade, and the style. Looks good on the old Monopoly board too. Excellent photos.

Brent,

I think you did a great job on this knife. As you may know , bringing back the old patterns is something that I try and achieve also. It is harder than it looks, however you really have the "look" right on this one.

Congrats,

Ken

I really like teardrops, and this one is a total gem! Everything about it is just right, congrats.
