-Vince those are some great looking knives,
I love that Swell Center Jack(coke bottle) looks
like an Old Knife! The Jack knife looks like a
Helluva knife! Thanks for sharing!

-Bret you did an outstsanding Job my friend.
You're killing those 2 blade knives.:D

Both look great but the jack's superb. What size are they Vince?

Neil & all,I have not had a chance to ask Bret but I'd guess the Fiddleback is 3-5/8 & the curve jack is around 3-3/8 to 3-5/8 range Just a guess going by other knives Bret made that I am familkiar with.

Bret's workin on a Wharncliffe Trapper and here are the
springs and blade being glued together. The dial indicator
helps you figure out the postion of the blade ,open, half,
and closed postion.
Looks like another great knife... Thanks Bret.

Looking good Bret!
I hope to see you at Blade this year as well.
Another well known maker here has said all his knives will be on his table and available when the doors open on Friday. Have you thought about how you will play it? Sell all you can Thursday night? Or give the rest of us slobs a shot when the show begins?
I will definitely stop by either way, I would just like to know how to prioritize my visist ;).

Hey Brett, I'm going to be really busy till about Saturday morning and can't make it to your table. Would you mind holding off selling any of your knives till then. :foot:

Seriously, I wouldn't blame Brett or Rick or Ken or Ken or Mike or Jerry or anyone if they sold most of their knives Thursday night and had a bare table come Friday afternoon. They could hold some back and do a drawing like some other people but not everyone would feel comfortable doing that kind of thing. People used to ream Tony out when he would sell his knives to someone else before they got there, which if you think about it, is kinda a-hole-ish:eek:. That's why he decided to do the lotteries.

anywho..I'm glad I don't have these knifemaker problems. ;)

...and remember, the early bird gets the worm. :p

Jason...

Thank you for the close ups....another insight to slip joint making...

Thanks for posting these Jason. I really want to go watch Bret, Rick or some of the others make knives someday.
