Bret Dowell Knives

Jeezzz Jason you get all the nice stuff!
Nice shield too!

Damn nice Jason!
Looks like a great knife to carry and use. Micarta and the satin finish should like new for a very long time.

That's a mighty fine lookin' Swayback Jack, Jason. I'd be happy to have that in my pocket.

I'd also be happy to have it in my pocket...it's a great looking knife, and that green canvas micarta is (so far) my favourite micarta handle.
And it's nice to find out that there are many talented knifemakers across the Atlantic...and Bret sure is one of them.

I have a slimline trapper on the way from Bret. I needed a "Gentleman's" type of slipjoint for special occasions. When Bret emailed me the photos, he asked me "if this would do?" I'm pretty sure "it will do."

Uh huh. That'll do just fine. What a beautiful piece of work.

What does Bret call that model ?

Congrats Duane...that's a fine looking knife.

I put the pressure on Bret to find the right piece of mammoth ivory. I told him I like darker colors, possibly with some crackle. He nailed it!

I appreciate the kind comments. This is my third from Bret, each one top shelf. I'm thinking I need a permanent spot on his list also.

We spent some time looking for that piece of ivory. I think it was worth the wait. Thanks for the comments.

Very Nice Ivory, and of coarse, a beautiful knife from Bret. Looking "very" forward to getting mine.
