Bri in Chi is gone.

There is a conspicuously empty seat in the cantina tonight. He will be missed by many friends.

Damnit! :( Brian's walking west doesn't come unexpectedly and I pray his last days were as pain free as possible. :( Brian and me became great friends over the Internet and he appreciated all the silly jokes I would send and we shared a great deal of personal stuff as well.
I will be missing Brian same as the rest of you who knew him and considered Brian a friend. :(
Brian was indeed a true craftsman in spite of him claiming he had no talent, but if Brian did indeed lack talent he made up for it with patience and care as you can see with the finished Snaphaunce Pistol that came in a kit form. And not only did Brian make the Snaphaunce he also finished a Lancaster Flintlock Rifle that also came in a kit form.
Brian did every bit of the carving on the stock and finished all the metal pieces that came in a partially finished state.
If I'm not mistaken Brian got his kits from The Rifle Shoppe.

I'm proud to have known Brian and even prouder that he called me friend.

I'm not sure but I think this was the first kit that Brian tackled from the Rifle Shoppe.
And he said he wasn't a craftsman. ;) Brian's efforts proved differently.

jeez, another good man gone from the cantina.

Prayers up from the west coast.

Thanks for showing those.

They are not easy kits to build, as I have been told.

He shaped a lot more than wood and metal.

many monuments of his kindness will remain, and pass forward into other lives.

Tom

I'm so very sorry. All we can hope for is an end to pain and suffering, when all is said and done.
Prayers for you and your family.

Peace,

Roger

Sad news of another member leaving. My condolences to family and friends. Another person who I did not meet but enjoyed their company here at the Cantina.

Damn damn damn.
Brian never let on to me that his surgery didn't get everything.
Brian was a great help to me over the last year.
Brian was a wonderful supporter of Ram's education fund.

I am so shocked and saddend by his passing. He deserved so much more.

Steve

sorry to hear about his passing, a little bit of him will be immortal as long as we remember him in kindness. my condolences go out to all of us who are saddened by the news..

I met Brian at the 2005 MWKK as you can see in HD's pic (thanks for posting it HD). I'm sad to see him gone.

Smoke from Iowa. Man, these things hit close to home, don't they?

Live life well,

Chris

Seems like the good ones tend to sneak out the back of the Cantina. Cancer isn't easy, and I hope the rest of your journeys are smoother. I also hope that the bright memories you left us with will ease some of the pain of passing. :( :)

Smoke up

He was wonderful customer and friend to HI
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family
