Brian coerced me to do this!

great looking knife grease-man... i like it... looks really comfortable...

Thanks Mike! The handle was a bit short for my hand ( I have long fingers) but would probably fit an average hand snugly. At least I hope it did for the owner's sake! -Matt-

Thought I heard my name over here.

Nice looking knife Matt. Very well done.

Thanks for some of the credit

That looks like the kind of knife most of us in here really appreciate. Nice shape and size, great steel, comfy looking handle. It's all there.

It's cool seeing two makers helping one another and giving credit where due. It shows great character on both their parts.

Thanks Bruce! I really appreciate the fact that you are on the forums and sharing your knowledge with everyone. Part of the reason this knife was a success was your file guide tip!

That is a great blade...

Thanks guys! I was going for kind of a general purpose knife, since I didn't know much about the recipient.

If a man can't show some integrity, what kind of man is he really?:cool:

I better stop philosohising...I almost hurt myself there! :D -Matt-

As the recipient of this awesome knife i can attest that greaseman can make a serious blade!!! i the wider blade and the toothy edge cut realy well and it has become my EDC (when im not at work). What he hasnt shown you all is the first class black leather sheath that came with it. It isnt nearly as shiney now and has acquired a nice patina from use, if any of you need a serious out of doors knife don't hesitate for a moment in ordering from Mat.

Jonathan, I am so glad that you like the knife and it is performing well for you! I haven't seen you posting for a while and was beginning to wonder if you were still around these parts! (This is the place to be of course, just ask anyone here! :D)
Thanks again for the kind words! I hope she gives you a lifetime of faithful service! -Matt-

haha sure im still around just alot busier than i used to be. i have found a german shepherd forum and have to split my time between here and there!

American knifemakers are incredibly prolific in the making of 4 inches fixed blades. So much prolific that i won't even try to count all the knives i would like to buy. Your knife, Grease-Man is one of them. That's what i would call a well balanced knife. By well balanced i want to mean that i yet can imagine, looking at the pics and the specs, all what i could do using it. A lot.

dantzk.
