I've also had excellent customer service, on the mail order side. Once, a few Xmas-es ago, they did make a small mistake on my package, and not only did I receive a 10%-off-next-order coupon, but I got a personalized letter from one of the principals....a welcome, if rare, touch in this day and age!

Good service maybe, but good prices? Arent these the same people selling all their knives at full retail? Occasionally, they do have some stuff on clearance, but mostly they sell at full retail.

Actually, their prices aren't bad. A Spyderco Military at 99.95 is one of the cheaper prices on that I've seen (short of deep-discount internet dealers). Other stuff is maybe a little higher, but usually reasonably priced, I think.

check out a recent BQ catalog-hardly anything
near retail. their knife prices arent bad.

 

In my opinion Mitch Werbell (owner) and Brigade Quartermasters are good people. They've been helping us outfit our jungle teams for some time now. Service has been excellent and I think their prices are in line with just about everywhere else.
