I guess the title speaks my thoughts. This is still the one of the best forums there is, but I'd trade two picks of my litter of pocketknives for the privilege of having Elliott co-moderate this traditional front porch again.

I'm missing my partner in goofyness, Thomason, as well. I know both my friends are taking a break, and I respect that, but I still miss `em.

Here's some knife content:

Ford, I've been thinking that a lot lately. Thanks for this thread.

I'm relatively new here, but I was made to feel welcome right from the start and I really miss seeing Elliott and Rob around.

You know for a fact that Rob is okay and just taking a break? I've emailed a couple of times with no response.

I've also noticed that a number of links to Rob's Photobucket images are no longer active.

I'm right there with ya'll. Just not the same without them. I really do miss them.

I also miss them both.

Your thoughts mirror mine as well.

Yep, I feel the same way. It's just not the same...like empty seats at the table.

I'd love to see them both back because of their contribution to the folksiness of the forum. On the other hand, I do enjoy how threads have been able to resolve on their own momentum without the fear of being over moderated. I think we've all been pretty good boys and girls lately:) While the occasional thread may wander a bit more than was allowed before, I think this makes for an even more folksy environment and the conversations usually circle back to the topic at hand without policing:thumbup:

Even with his super mod status, he has still dropped in a few times.
I could be wrong, but I think he is more relaxed and having more fun when he does post. Would be nice to see him around a little more often

I also miss both Elliott and Rob's participation on a regular basis here in this forum. While understanding the reasons why, I being selfish, miss and look forward to the time when we see more posts again by both of these guys.

Its also very nice to see new interest here and the continuing posts by old familiar names:thumbup:

I'll just echo what everyone else has said.

Amen--on the self policing! :)
