Bring back Blues to the Folksy Forum...

I agree with all and miss looking at their very nice knives too!

Well heck, Peter, you can always click the link below my signature. ;)

I miss my buddy Rob though. Haven't heard from him in some weeks.

You'll never get me, copper!!! Never!!!

Intervention!?!? Good lord, I thought this was the traditional forum not some new age, politically correct, desperate housewives chat-room.:p;)

Anyway, thanks for the kind thoughts to those who have expressed or thunk them.

I'm still around, reading threads that capture my attention and responding when the urge strikes.

You guys are doing just fine as is and I'm always available to my friends via email or PM.

(Plus, I still have my super moderator cape and uniform though I'm getting to that age where it doesn't fit like it used to. :p)

The first post I read when I got up, and it was a good one :D
Guess I'm gonna gave to check out your pic album again, I don't recall seeing the knife in your avatar pic

See, I have powers ;)

Good job Kerry

Blues I missed the whole thing. Good to see you posting and I do agree we in this forum do a pretty good job posting, most of the time that is. :) Take care old friend and truthfully I'm guessing the forum is more fun now that you don't feel your responsable for checking every thread.

Elliott, seeing you posting here gave a nice turn to my evening. I hope you continue to do so...

Now how do we get Rob's head out of those peanuts long enough to post?

Thanks, guys. Nothing's better than hearing from some good friends.:cool:

Mike, I think you'd better check the first couple of posts in that "Ken Erickson Retrospective" thread I started a while back. There's several images there. ;)

I can't make any promises but I did leave a message on his machine and hopefully I'll hear back from him sometime soon.

I think we might be able to lure him with the promise of alcohol and fast women. I'm just sayin'... ;)

Got your message, Elliott. I'm still here, guys. Just kind of flying under the radar for now. All is well.......as evidenced by the latest score.

Geno Denning Mini GM model (GM as in George's model, as in Geno's friend and mentor George Herron). Ironwood, red liner, satin finish, probably ATS-34 or 154CM, about 6 inches overall. Paul Long made me one of his lizard inlay sheaths for this one. Geno makes one heck of a nice knife.

Welcome back goofy doofus.

Glad you got the message, Rob.

Nice Denning! I've only got one from GenO and it's a heck of a knife.

P.S. to Kerry...You ain't the only one with mad skilz...:p

Good "seeing" both of you on here. :)

Kerry, nice mad skillz in getting Elliott out of the woodwork. Elliott, super duper mad skillz in bringing Rob back into the sunlight. Rob, nice score!

Elliott and Rob ... nice to see you guys pop in for a visit!

Wow! just wow...... Gus is on the mend, the 2009 forum knife is shipping, Blues is back, and now Rob too?

I believe the curse has been lifted off the land........

CJ jumps like a cheerleader and says YAY!,

ok, maybe I did only in my mind. It would probably throw my hip out if I tried. Today is a great day........
