Bring back the bm42 bm43 bm47 and bm46 balisongs petetion

Sadly, it's a pipe dream to bring the 4X series back. The bali market is limited, there are plenty of producers out there, and even some custom makers are going production. The 6X series will keep Benchmade in the game but it's not worth it like it was 15, 20 years ago.

The only way to get the 4X series back would be an epic blockbuster movie where the hero (or villian's) main weapon was a Bali. Until then, buy the 6X series or cough up the dough for an aftermarket 4X. I got most of them though so I can't really complain ;)
 
I wouldn't mind seeing it come back, the more choices the better. Seems it would make a lot of people happy ;)
 
i refuse to buy the bm6x, they seem way too heavy. Benchmade forced me to assemble the 43 from clone parts just to have something similar.

It IS heavy. They're beautifully constructed and designed knives, but not the 4X series. I haven't handled the BM-51Ti, but I bet it's a happy medium between the too-light 51 and the brick 62.
