So after talking to some other members here, and EDCing my DODO as of late,
I am hoping to start some sort of rally here. As another member has suggested: Maybe Spyderco could give us some CF scales... an encased ball... and maybe the wave clip?

Lets just make it simple for Spyderco.

Don't make any demands for changing so it costs them a fortune in time and labour.

1000 piece sprint run and the most i would like is a different color maybe an orange if it isn't to much of a hassle.

+2 Let's see if we can drum up enough interest to interest Spyderco in producing a 1000 piece sprint run. Then we could talk about options like an encased ball lock, wave pin, D2 or other steel, etc. Anyone who is interested add your comments.

This is what I would like to see:

KAM,
That's nice! I'd buy one. Did you design that knife? I can't believe the DODO was'nt more popular. Hope Spyderco can fit it in!
Lycosa

This would make my christmas! i had the oppertunity to own this knife as my first blade and i said screw it i can buy it later if i want it..... now there going for 170 on ebay!!!!!!

I want this blade more than anything else on the market right now

I had a chance to buy several dodo's over the years, but I hadn't been bitten by the Spyderco bug yet. I still found them ugly and couldn't understand why people liked them.

Now I'm on a Spyderco binge and the Dodo is at the top of my wish list. I must have a Dodo.

Please do a sprint run.

I've tried to find one without luck. I like the s-curve blade. I understand the cutter power is excellent.

The cutting power is excellent, the handle design is top notch, the ball lock is perfect, zero blade play, and it can be carried anywhere. It is great for every day tasks or SD. I have two, one se & one pe, that I bought when they first came out. I will buy two more when they become available again!! I can not say enough about the DODO, it's a great LITTLE/BIG knife!!

stop your making me jealous :grumpy:

A dodo with a hawkbill would be the shit...

Sal, would you at least consider bringing back the original?

So true....

Hopefully sal can at least put the idea on the backburner.

That way it could happen a couple years down the road

I sure am hoping.....
