Man, would I love to have a SHBA (Shakira would be OK too). ;-)

Got started with the BATAC and there have been many great Busse knives since then. But none to compare to the SHBA

I think Downtown DM said it best:

"yeah, I know 'Ducci. we've been around this topic before, and I've no beef with you.

for me, honestly, I don't worry about such perceived losses, in anything in life. and not because I'm uber-wealthy or the like, but because life is just too short, and sans a time machine it's a pointless mental exercise anyway. no regrets right? seems apropos.

like diamonds, such 'markets' are based on speculation and artificially inflated prices/values, and serve little purpose other than to protect the (generally monetary) interests of a few, while keeping the shiny/useful/interesting hidden away from most.

and trust me, I believe in a free market economy and absolutely respect your right to engage in such activities, but when such leanings intersect with common tools (and not that Busse blades are all that 'common' but they are tools) it rubs me the wrong way.

respectfully, and with no animosity,

DM"

I just got my hands on a SHBA thanks to Mulder's passaround and have to say that this seriously NEEDS to be brought back as a Light Brigade.

.22 thick would be dandy.

I have a CABS and CABJ and SJTAC but they aren't nearly as comfortable as the SHBA.

I would love the opportunity to own a new Badger Attack. I still regret not picking one up "back in the day" when they were still offered direct. Still have my SHBM but need a SHBA for everyday carry. The design is classic, thin version would rule.

I've just taken a picture of my SHBA next to my favourite folders, the Rukus 610s. It's interesting to se that knife designs from so completely distinct origins still can have some similarities. Drop me a line, if you want to se the result.

I sold one that was thin. . ..200 iirc, hollow fasteners, smooth coat. I've had seller's remorse ever since.

Omg please bring it back as a LB!!! This is one of my grails, but I will probably never be able to aford one...

Oh, yes. Bring back the SHBA, please. The new ones could also be saber cut, to distinguish them from the original.
The other day I showed my SHBA to a friend of mine, who collects antique katanas. He just kept on holding it, saying "it's such a nice knife"…

I use to think the SHBA was the bomb but have since switched over to the dark side and prefer the RATMANDU.

I just picked up an ABA user, I think I like Better than the Older Badgers for using.

I also grabbed another BA-E for my old age'

I may even put an ad in the For Sale Forum, I have been talking about it for a year now, It could happen.

A BOSS SHBA release would be this piglet's grailiest wet dream ever!!!

Be warned Mulder, the after I save myself $600-800 I may be knocking on your PM box trying to get my hands on one of these bad boys! Will beg if I need to :p

But it's just crazy, that you’ll have to shell out so much money for this wonderful design…

I did it – and I might be crazy :playful:, but still I’d love to see some SHBA INFI available to more people at a reasonable price.
Come on – we’re here cause we love the great Busse knives - not to speculate in the prices going up.
And as a true fan, I want as many as possible to have the good experiences.

My wish would be an Ergo Badger without choil and a tad thinner, than the original. The most awesome user Badger IMHO.
