I take it that the standard kydex rivets won't work on that thick stuff, so what do you use? Or is this a trade secret?

The standard rivets will work fine on the thick kydex, but not as good when using them to add a layer or six of fabric. Those are copper rivets which we get at a local leather supply company.

Troy, is the bottom of the sheath open? Or are the two halves of kydex squeezed closed down there?
