How many knives does a feller NEED?

I used to think that it was three (7 incher, 4 incher, and a smaller pocket knife), but now it's doubled (add a 9 incher, 3 incher and a sword :rolleyes:). I'm not talking about collections, for instance my uncontrolled obsession with Howling Rats, but actual USE knives.

I went camping yesterday. It was great weather. But there was idiots around, and they stole my lawnchair as well as a guncase. Last time I camp there.:jerkit:

I also nicked up the edge of my Rat Daddy cutting steel banding, but the damage was pretty minimal.

It was sitting on the chair, empty.

Thing is, they didn't take the coleman lantern or the cooler, just the chair and case.

There was a 4 wheeler that stopped up the road then drove past twice with no lights. Later there was two trucks of rednecks that were acting suspiciously, and one truck drove up near my campsite and back out. This was like 3 in the morning or so.
 
So I'm taking stock of my weekend, and I think all is going just about perfect (knock on wood veneer).

My son turned one month old. He's healthy and happy.
My Tigers made it to the ALCS.
Even better, I have tickets to Tues. game, in Oakland (will I get my butt beat if I wear an orange sweater?)
My wife is back to within 3 lbs of her per pregnancy weight.
I got to go this weekend with just my 5 year old daughter to the park to practice riding her big girl bike, with NO training wheels!
I actually have a Game Warden (Black/DC) on order from tonight's trough brawl.
I am sipping on two fingers of Red Breast 12 Year Old Irish Whisky, one of the finest Irish whiskys available at any price, even though it only runs about $41 a bottle.

Anyway, cheers my brothers. Life is good. :)

Sorry to hear about the dumb rednecks Rat. I know how you feel as they can be a problem around here too. Wait...I live in Maine... I think that automatically makes me a redneck :o
