Wow, that was a good drinking night. Passed right out last night...LOL So you did end up scoring one of those fox? Congrats! :D

Saw that and already chatted with Landar about it;) Thanks Tony. I already have the NO-E I want. The only one I'm still looking for is the SH-E with the polished spine and logo. Won't have money for any others til at least after xmas. Just bought Carlas Christmas present and am buying all new outdoor gear. (in best old fogey voice) "A dollar just ain't what it used to be back in my day."...LOL

Outdoor gear...

I need a new backpacking tent, I need two, a one person and a small three person, any ideas?

I have been using a tarp shelter, and a few times this year i was too dam cold! So for another 2-4 lbs I'd rather be warm. I can carry the weight OK. I think all the miles I did carrying a light pack and my girlfriend's little boy (38 lbs) has toughened me up. Although one trip at over 10,000 ft had me thinking I wasn't going to make it with him on my shoulders. He is getting old enough to walk most of the way himself now, buy the time summer rolls around again he'll be nearly seven and if he can't walk he'll be too big to carry.

Any thoughts on jackets Tony? Got it narrowed down right now to either a North Face Lightspeed or North Face Mountain Lite.

Thanks for the link Gimme. I've got my eye on the other ones cause there's some on that there auction site for $150 or less. Trying to keep cost down. Any recommendations in the sub $150 category? Not looking for something bullet proof, just something light, waterproof, and packable. Not worried about insulation either as I layer and I want something that can work year round. Looking primarily are Gore-Tex PAclite and Gore-Tex-XCR.

No REI but, we have EMS. Been reading a lot of reviews and for my budget, those 2 I mentioned seemed to be the best for my budget. Just cant decide which to pull the trigger on.

Look at REI on line and see if they have what you might want, they almost have a Busse warranty, in some ways better and some not.

You can return it for any reason any time.... but you can't abuse it.

I buy stuff there like Polar HR monitors that break about every four months and I just walk in and get a new one:thumbup:
