Just got my Bravo 1 in the mail a few days ago and I must say, WOW! Depending how well I take to sharpening the convex edge - this might be "the knife" I'm looking for. Fit and finish are awesome. I can't wait to get some outdoors time with it.

Hey Merost
I think you'll find out many people feel the same way about our Bravo-1's "WOW" some like them so much we bought a second to keep the first from getting lonely LOL
keep us informed on how yours works out for you as you get some woods time in best wishes

Be careful when you buy Bark River Knives.... they can be addicting. The Bravo 1 is a great knife.

I've thought about getting one for a while now but havn't. It looked like the perfect bushcraft knife.

And mine.

Trying to decide between a Bravo 1 and the new Busse Boss Street right now. Same size. Busse's a bit more expensive out of the gate, though. It's around $225.

and don't forget you atleast get a sheath with the bark river too, unless you make them you gotta buy one for the busse lol.

i love my bravo 1 and also have a couple busses i love to

bark river bought used and slightly modified by original owner and i love it, very comfortable no real hot spots and is extra grippy

I find it great too. Light but stout, it also gets really sharp for its thickness and holds its edge for very long. I enjoy mine, coupled with the BRK&T golok it makes for a cool bushcraft combo

I have a lot of top quality knives that I can put to use and I do use and carry many of them, I nearly always go back to my Bravo 1 though. The B1 is a fantastic knife.

I carry my Bravo-1 as my 4 by 4ing knife. You never know when you'll need a tough, stout, awesome fixed blade far out in the bush.
