Broke down and ordered my current Grail....

Great looking knive! I ordered one the moment it came out. I see that they are sold out now. I ordered it the same day I received my Bodega 2.0. Wild:). This 2.0 is an upgraded field grade. Has the look and feel of the original bodega combined with the Begatti nuances. I love it! Also have a field grade on the way... Oh my gosh, Im broke!! I May be going to heck in a bucket, but at least I'm in enjoying the ride......

Whenever you get a chance, a review of that 2.0 would be greatly appreciated!

I know I for one am very curious about the changes, especially given the jump in price compared to the previous bodega's selling price.

Oh trust me, I love CF too ;)

But I would rather just not spend the extra price bump for it honestly. If i had the extra cash for it, I would jump on CF over G10 every time :D

Just didn't phrase what I meant that well.

That's a beautiful Sibenza!!

There's a story behind this B&G Bodega. I had given up trying to find one, so for the sake of trying I called Begg Knives and asked if anyone knew where I could locate one. To my surprise they gave me a name and a number to call; the persons name was John Grey. At the time I didn't recognize the name. I called and spoke to John and he said he had bought this B&G Bodega from Todd at the Blade Show and was willing to sell it to me.

I received an email from Drew over at Todd Begg's shop today. I had asked him a couple of questions (see red) and here is his answer:

Sorry for the delayed response, its been a busy week.

[How many of the B&G Bodegas are you guys making?]
Right now we are planning on making a limited number like 25 to 50 but the demand has been so high for them that we might make them a standard model. It is not clear at this time but more will be answered after Christmas once everyone returns from their family plans.

[How long will the wait be?]
Just like all of the knives we produce we make to order so these have the standard 8-12 week backlog as other items we make.

[Will they be numbered or individually identified in any way?]
They will not be numbered and there is no identifiers other then the unique looks on this piece. The knives come with a pouch and a patch.

Thank you,
Drew
