Contact the shop and send it in.

Now tell us just what the heck you were doing to break that bad boy.

Oh, and where is the other piece???

Does He Really Get A New One??

Yeah....he does  that's the second Busse ever Broken. I haven't heard of one of the old A2's being broken. The only other INFI Busse to break was a similar break on a Skelly Key. The fella hammered it into a cinder block and started kicking it around from side to side trying to get it free. He finally broke it. It's a much more delicate knife than a GW though. What the heck was being done with it? I'd love to know!

What the heck did you do to it???

(this thread is urging me to buy my first piece of INFI, I can't believe the warranty) :D

WOW, that looks like an actual snap, not a tear...
Boss Hog will take care of your problem;)

Follow the urge and you'll be rewarded every time you use it :D  you won't find a better warranty, better people, or a tougher product out there. These knives perform like you wouldn't believe, worth every penny.

wow thought I was tough on my warden!!! no worries though, unconditional lifetime warranty!

Firstly the tip was bent during very heavy prying.
after I was trying to straight the tip back with the hammer and unfortunatelly broke it :(

Game Warden is the great knife! my other knives break much mooore easily! :)

I wrote an e-mail to customer support customerservice@bussecombat.com
wiil wait till the answer :)

The warranty covers repair or replacement of a damaged blade, it doesn't mean that automatically any broken blade will be replaced with the same exact blade. If the knife can not be repaired it will be replaced with a similarly priced knife (retail price), that the owner agrees with. He may not receive this exact configuration as some of the knives are no longer made.

For example if Cobalt were to break a SH BM, he would not receive a new SH BM because they are no longer made. Same thing may apply here, if they don't have anymore of these GW's and it needs to be replaced it is possible he could receive a credit for a new knife or possibly another style of GW.

This is how I understand the warranty and in no way am I speaking for the shop. Best thing to do is to send it in and then wait to hear from them.

Also, since this is Blade week don't expect an immediate response to your emails.

:D:D

I agree 100% with pbubsy. All knives can be broken, damaged etc... Busses are very very tough - but also can be broken (although not easily:D ). The thing is Busse combat takes care of every customer in the best way one can hope for!
To me Busse knives are worth every penny not only because they are tough as hell but also because they are very functional, very well designed, and beautiful.

As to warranty - I understand it the same way Eric does. The charm of Busse Combat is in constantly changing offer!

And worth notice is that OJ warden is only 0.14" thick. I have a black tie warden - the same thickness and the tip is thin in comparsion with Lep Warden or even Black DC warden.

Busses are the types of knives you wanna abuse! I'll try saving the money and waiting till a design of my fancy comes along. :D

(If I can't get the money I might pick up a SYKW or SRKW knife instead, either way can't go wrong. :D)

Yeah asi.... Now we want to know how you did it! Please:D

Yep, bet they take care of you(maybe not orange), and I'm sure if you don't get an orange one in its place someone here will sell you one, at a great price.

thank's for the kind answers! :)

I'm going to wait the answer from the shop. If they need the broken knife I will send it them.! :)
