Bruce Bump knives

I stumbled upon this discussion and am humbled by the great compliments. I have been a member of BF since 1999 but haven’t been here for a few years. I’ve been over at Face Book trying to straighten out the crazy people there. Very refreshing to be here tonight where I,m appreciated.

Bruce, Love your work - much respect. I still have a piece of your Damascus we did a trade on for the Burr King pedestal! One of these days!

Mr. Bump... you are more than APPRECIATED here.... you are venerated. Worshipped. Admired greatly.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to me straight from Santa @bruce_bump. This is his incredible new folder called, appropriately enough, ‘Formula 1’ because of the carbon fiber used is from a F1 car.

I’m very fortunately have to have great friend that was the Head Mechanic for Michael Schumacher the entire time he was World Champion...he’s been too kind and has sent me some incredible momentos.

You guys that are Machinists, take a look at these billet pieces...that wheel lock/‘lug nut’ is a one use/throw away and the other outer space thing is a....[...]. Start guessing, I never figured it out and had to be told, some of the finest machine work I ever saw.

The release on this folder is pretty amazing and silk-smooth. Kinda like a built-in safety for the pocket, the blade must be depressed a bit to disengage the ‘lock’, load the kick-spring, and then releases and locks like the proverbial vault.

This was one of the first and Santa Bruce was kind enough to etch it with my favorite number.

Merry Christmas to all and God Bless!!!❤️❤️❤️

simply outstanding. Even the clip looks like a work of art.

I bet that knife runs like a proverbial “Swiss watch”

nothing finer than a Bump for Christmas. Enjoy my friend!

and Merry Christmas to all!

It's a funny coincidence that this thread got "Bumped" today, as I just finished carving some interior mammoth for my own dagger build that is inspired by Bruce's Tomb Raider piece.
