Bruce Bumps Newest Folder (pic) Not for the faint at heart

Man oh man, that's one sweet gun/knife combo. Just one question, how acurate is it?:D

As for why more people don't make them, I don't know about everybody else, but I pull enough hair out makeing a plain little hunter.

Thanks guys, Will, I havent shot it yet. I set the sight height so the bead is on the same spot across the street that I can see through the bore. With only a 2.75" barrel It may only be good for close range and wont pack much of a wallop using .22 cal. pellets. It shoots the percussion caps fine so I know it will fire. Bruce B.

That really is cool, Bruce. Are any of the parts bought or do you bore the barrel yourself? Do you do your own engraving too? How much of a load do you think the thing could take? Give us some juicy details! :)

Peter, The barrel is an old sears .22 long rifle. I cut a section and silver soldered a mounting system The nipple is store bought and the trigger return spring is from Brownells but all the other parts are hand made. I should be able to fill the barrel completely full and tamp a pellet in the end and fire it into a bag. All the powder wont burn this way but I can reduce the load each test fire and when all the powder is burnt, that will be max load. I can reduce the load a few more grains and have a comfortable shooting load. I think it will be somewhere around 12-18 grains of black powder. Thanks for asking
