Is the son in law even filling orders as Livesay orders, or under his own name?

I have always loved this forum! Cougar is a no nonsense smart a$$. Thats what I have always liked about him. There are people here for the right reasons and there are people here for the wrong reasons. I giggle because at times you all are like a bunch of ole women from my grandmothers Thursday afternoon bunko game

What little knowledge I have of the knife world is mainly through my father and now my husband. The people that are here for the right reasons - I've learned a great deal from. It is no secret that Cliff Stamp and my father have had a round or two but Mr. Stamp is a gentleman that I've learned a great deal from over the past 7+ years. He is informative and knowledgeable when it comes to his reviews. One thing I'm most impressed with is Mr. Stamps ability to have all of his information correct and factual before presenting his review(s) - even when his reviews are not always flattering to the knife maker.
There are a great deal of men here I enjoy mainly because they are just plain ole, honest, good hearted gentleman: loandr., fixer27, Keith Montgomery, sak_collector, fudo, kacy, etc.
I have NO intentions of defending myself or my husband AGAIN. I think if you read over a few forums weve been there and done that. I realize without the shadow of a doubt there will always be cynicism, how can there not be? But you can see my father is still making knives. He even attends the occasional gun show here and there. Does he make them at the rate he once did? Nope will he ever again? Nope.
Mr. Silenthunterstudios you seem interested in my family so give me a call and Ill catch you up. Trust me I have no secrets or hidden agendas.

I know nothing about your business, your fathers knives, or your husbands knives, only what I read on here. Lots of respected members have stepped up to the plate to recommend your husbands knives and your business practices. I was under the impression that people who had bought a Livesay knife, and paid for a Livesay knife, were getting a knife made by someone else, namely your husband, but were still paying for a Livesay knife per se. I asked that question, and received a resounding no. I meant no disrespect towards the quality of your husbands knives, and was going on what I now think is flawed logic on my part, thinking that the quality of your husbands work was less than your fathers just because of age differences. Once again, it was just a question that I had, I meant no disrespect, and I'm sorry that you took it as such. I was not trying to start a flame war either. I apologize, and request your forgiveness. I joined this forum, and participate here, for the right reasons as well. Thank you.

After waiting nearly 3 years, I won't be getting that LAK-5; I'll be getting an MS blade. I'll be getting one that won't make me angry every time I look at it. Instead, I'll be getting a blade that I will appreciate due to the high caliber of the maker's standards of personal integrity and workmanship. That point alone makes it worth more to me. If it took an unpleasant incident (such as dealing with Newt) to meet extrordinary folks like Joda & Darrell, then so be it. I would like to thank Joda and Darrell for their super efforts on my behalf. They have bent over backwards in order to help me get my backorder, even though they didn't have to.
I also believe that in spending 5 years learning his craft by helping Newt make his blades, Darrell has paid his dues. Let his workmanship, designs, and honorable business ethics speak for themselves.
He! He! Joda, I wasn't going to mention that publicly, out of respect for you and Darrell. It was going to be a private joke. Don't ever apologize to me for that blade not being a "Livesay"; it's better in my book! If I had gotten the blade from Newt, it would have been just a business transaction. Coming from Darrell's hands and your heart makes it worth more in my book....I'll probably call it an SN-2.5 (Screw Newt-2.5 yrs waiting)"
That's OK, for now. I'm already dreaming up a way to make you take $$$!Also - you can have a conversation all day with my husband on the phone - you can email back and forth but in the end Darrell has been married as long as you have
