Awsome guys thanks for your input, keep it coming if you have any more, and no not limited to blades.

What knife is this?
That's the Nick Allen Bladeforums Wilderness Survival Knife. Best Custom out there for the buck. (Yeah...I just said that.)
Approx. 5" blade of tough O-1 steel, w/ added bonus of having a very nice Hamon on it.
Excellent craftsmanship, and fit and finish.
I make knives, but nothing like this (...yet!):)

Regarding cutlery-
In addition to the other mentioned Victorinox's i would add the Pioneer, Huntsman and the Swisschamp.
And i would add the Buck 119, 112, 110,102.
And the ubiquitous Scout pocket knife and hatchet patterns.

Is it still possible to aquire one of these beauts. I was around for the initial planning but lacked the funds (what am I saying I still lack the funds) but for future reference can I still get one?? What was/is the going price??

Also, a crook knife(s) would be in there as well:

Obviously the Woodlore, Nessy, Kephart, Marbles Woodcraft, and most Scandi pattern knives should be up there.

Might seen funny to some, but waterstones are in there as well IMO:

PJ cotton balls even though they seem to be a secret to most people I know, fatwood, a good axe (Gransfors based on reputation alone), folding saw, Mora, ferro rod, the humble tarp.

Nick is still taking orders, but the wait may be pretty long. Shoot him an email at nick@metricsunlimited.com and get on the list.

Sure this has been mentioned, but the flint & steel tinder kit must be way up there:
