Buck 110 1st. Version?

oh by the way, I did a buck 110 search then searched completed items and it show under completed items who won this knife but didn't show who bid the knife up, the winner was supercross (975)

Yes I don't like this new ebay set up. It protects the thieves as the can use multiple name and bid the item up themselves and we would never know who was bidding or if they had ever bid on anything before!!!!

The last time i sold something on Ebay that went for a higher price, all of the other bidders got bogus second chance offers. All of them, to the man. I know this because they all contacted me and asked if I had sent the offer. Made me so mad to know that there are people like that out there trying to scam good folks out of their money. :mad:
I don't know if I like this new system Ebay is using but if it at least helps prevent these kinds of scams, it will be at least a little worth it. IMHO

But are *all* the "second chance offers" bogus??? :confused: In my 110+ buys, I've had three second chance offers...two were some time back, the items were what I wanted; everybody happy...the last one was a couple weeks ago, and I was glad I was outbid and ignored it... :rolleyes:

I always figured it was the seller having several of what was offered and he's selling what he has to the top bidders...probably to get around paying the other fees to eBay...

I don't think I really know what this latest scam is...

If it makes you feel any better, I know I came in second in a few of your ebay auctions and I never receivced any second chance offers. :o Kinda makes me feel left out. :(

I had my ebay account hacked into once too. They did the same to me as they did to you.
One other scam that I have not been able to figure out is when I get an ebay message and the member demands that I hurry up and pay for an auction. I look and the auction and seller appear to be legit but its is an auction I never even bid on. Something like a karaoke machine that I never would bid on.
So what's their scam? Do you think that maybe they are hoping I will, in haste, pay them for an auction i never bid on? Thats the only thing I can think of. :confused: :confused:
I guess it just pays to be on your toes and suspicious all the time.

Hello everone ,I like to apologize to you, when I made my frist post here on BladeForums . What I should of included also in my post how much I learned from this Buck forum and how interesting all you members are . I quess I had BUCK FEVER when I was bidding on that knife, and the way Ebay changed the way we bid that day, I lost my manners . When I am reading in this forum I feel like a 49 year old kid in a candy store .I don't have alot of Buck knives but I guess you have to start somewhere . When my 8 year old son gets older I hope he will feel the same about his future knives . I did get the second series knife from A29fordpu the last bid turned out to be bogus someone hacked into that persons Ebay acc. watched items , and put in a bid . I have been on the phone to both , to make sure this was on the up and up ,Ebay said this has happend before . So to all , THANK YOU for increasing my my knowledge of this Great Knife and company . I just wanted to say you people do make me :D . I have a lot to learn ,I took chickentrax advice and joined this forum and downloaded the application for Buck collectors Club to join that also .Not that I am buying any thing to soon after this last knife . The only thining that saved my butt :eek: with my wife on spending that much money was "THESE KNIVES ARE FOR OUR SONS FUTURE ' I kept saying :rolleyes: And I am sorry Buckaholic I out bid you by a penny:rolleyes: , Thanks to all , Pete
