Buck 110 EDC?

Everyday for the last 35 plus years. It’s the least armed I am willing to go. But I always considered it a striking weapon. With a useful blade. That brass pommel can be devastating.

On my belt. “Outside his pants for all the honest world to see”

From 1974ish till mid 90’s it was my only EDC. For work reasons went in pocket carry so Spyderco took over that chore.
Belt carry is now mostly 112fg or auto and i do like the 112 slime on occasion.
Only carry the 110 when i’m feeling nostalgic and that’s my ••110••FG i got off ebay from Alaska in a 5 Buck knife deal.

I used to carry my 110 30 plus years ago because it really was my only knife.Nostalgia wants me to again but in Michigan legal limit is 3 inches. It was back then but everybody carried them and the political climate is different today or am I overthinking?

Might consider a 110 Slim Select as an option. They're terrific and light - with a pocket clip.

A 112 Slim will be in my pocket today..But I'm going to try a 110 LT or Slim and really give it a chance..

I carry a 110 most days. I carry mine in the tool pocket on the outer thigh of my carpenters jeans. It works great and I’ve yet to have any problems with it sliding out.

As of Jan. 2019 MI law does not restrict open carry knife length unless local statute (Detroit, Lansing) prohibits. Unless intent is to do bodily harm to another.
Conceled carry is where it can get tricky. But again intent comes into play, as in hunting season/ wore under a coat.

I have a friend that is MI state police and he says that "if your gonna get hassled by the police for a Buck 110, your already in trouble for something else".

I encourage you to check into it for yourself as the laws have changed......

Overthinking, unless you belong to a class of people that are prone to being stopped by cops. Buck 110 not being allowed doesn't sound like the part of MI I visit. Now if ya like to drink and brawl...:)

Yeah, those stupid laws are just for tacking on extra time to your sentence. At that point, does it really matter? o_O

I carry a 110 in nylon sheath at 8 o'clock and 501 at 2.
