I like it. I got one about a week ago at Wal Mart for 30 bucks and it's great. It has excellent fit and finish and the lock-up is very solid.

I've been carrying mine in the watch pocket of my jeans instead of a sheath, and that seems to work great. You don't notice the weight of the knife from that position at all.

Anyone else carry a Buck 110 as part of your EDC?

I don't carry a #110 personally, but I'd be willing to bet that there are millions being carried every day.

I also picked mine up at the local Wallyworld, it sees occasional carry time for work....can't beat it for the price. Tough as nails, too. :D I loved mine so much that I also bought a Buck Ti560, which is basically a 110 blade with a finger grooved Titanium handle.

I'm crazy about Buck's 110's & 112's. Usually carry a 110 in a sheath & a smaller folder in my pocket. I'll try to show the last Buck's I acquired...give me a chance to see if I can post a pix, too.

We I carried a 110 everyday for ten years or so. I'm still a fan of the 110 and the 112 as well. Mine mostly get carried on hunting, fishing and hikeing trips these days, which lucky for me is about twice a week.
If i could only have one knife it would be the 110. Good knife.

I used to EDC a 110 but they're just too darned heavy and I'm kind of hung up on one hand openers now. The 110 is still the folder I take in the bush.

SMKW sells a One-Armed bandit that attaches to the top of the blade of the 110 to allow quick, one-handed opening. A good number of people over in the Buck Forum have upgraded their 560's to a BG-42 blade, added the "Bandit" and have come up with the term "BuckBenza." If the one-handed thing is that important, and you still like the 110's, it may be worth a try.

Great knives but the 110 is a tad heavy for pocket carry (hence the usual sheath carry). I find CS Voyagers handier to slip into a pocket: lighter, flatter and AUS8 is easier to sharpen than what Buck uses IMHO, and holds an edge better. Voyagers are also one-hand openers with a stud.

I've had 110's for years. they dropped out of my EDC rotation for awhile buit are now making a comeback. I recently converted a 110 and a 560 to BG-42 blades and use them in my rotation all the time. The weight of the 110 doesn't bother me and the 560 is plenty light. And the BG-42 blades from the custom shop are unbelieveable.

True, they're not one-hand openers, but then again, the lock-up is so solid they're like fixed blades when you use them.

carried one edc for yrs, but then switched to the thinner/lighter gerber FS11, carried it for quite a while and went to a spyderco endura, and the rest is history. boy ya dont hear much about the FS11 anymore, wonder if gerber still makes them?? i know in the day they were 'the' tactical folder. still have a drop point and std FS11. they also were a little higher than the bucks, $30 or so vs almost $50 IIRC.

but yes the 1st knife i edc'd was a buck 110 folder,

I ordered my first one from the Buck custom shop last week, it should be here in about 2-3 weeks....CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

It's my first "custom" I chose nickel silver bolsters and Elk scales.

Thanks guys, for all the replies. I love this thing.

Confederate, I tried that Combo that you described on the builder thing at Buck's website. REALLY SWEET!

Clydetz, Those are beautiful!

The 110 was my first "real knife". I got it when I was 14, I think... I carried it for many years, and this was the knife that I've leraned how to sharp !

Yeah that thing that let's you see your knife first is cool.....I am literally going nuts waiting on it to arrive.

Both the 110 and 112 have been favorites for years. Classic.

I like the blade length of the 110. I have 3 that I rotate. The 110 on my belt and either one of my Sebenzas or my Lone Wolf City Knife clipped to my pocket.
