Title says it all. Im looking for a good quality USA made sheath for my new 110. Can you guys point me in the right direction?

All Buck sheaths are made in Mexico. Sorry, even the Custom Shop knives that you pay a small fortune for you get a crappy nylon sheath unless you upgrade to a leather sheath made in Mexico. Nice sheath but not made in USA

Sen'or Escobar, Si, in years past, they were. This was changed some 10yrs. ago. Yet, these leather sheaths, hecho in Mexico are a well made sheath. I still like them. One may still find the USA made sheaths at knife shows or at auction sites, priced reasonably. DM

You better look again, buck makes brand new made in the usa 110 sheaths, all kinds on the bay,i've got several black with white stitching, very well made and ride a little lower on the belt, its a softer leather like that on the brown ag 110 sheaths, very nice sheath!

Are you sure Buck makes them? I'd like to see a picture. All sheaths Buck makes are made in Mexico. Maybe you got an older model or a replica.

The USA made sheath came/comes with the Chairman's series 110. I have a couple and they are a greyish leather with white stitching. There was a discussion on here about the description in the catalog possibly being a typo, but either Joe or someone from Buck came on here and verified that they were indeed made in the USA.

I'm still searching for that thread and will link to it when I find it.

Love the traditional black pouch for the 110, but (dang it) I actually find the nylon one more comfortable to carry. But any number of custom sheath makers offer alternatives.

Ok. even still, if one knife (110) comes with a sheath made in the USA, that is a far cry from ALL KINDS as posted by RB.

I just did a quick bay check and the sheaths being referred to in the earlier post were described as the sheaths that went to the Chairman Series 110s. They weren't all over the bay, in fact there was one listing in 400 that I saw.

I saw the made in US nylon sheaths as well, but the leather sheaths are on there also.

I couldn't even find one of the new USA made 110 sheaths for sale by itself. Plenty listed but only with the knife.

That looks just like the sheath that came with the special Edition Club offerings. i.e. the paperstone 110 and 112's. DM

Nice knife Matt. Does it have some connection to the subject of this thread that I'm missing?

Like this, as it carries the USA made label and I don't recall this sheath having the made in Mexico sticker. Does someone have that on their model? DM

David, the one in your picture has a different logo on the flap than the USA made one, and is a polished black. It's not the same as the one's in question.

Though it carries the USA label it is placed in a different location on the paper than the photo Plumber posted. Plumber's example would remove any doubt. What location does the made in USA label need to be situated? Could we accept this variance? DM
