Buck 110 leather sheath made in USA

USA made 110 sheath.

Plumber, With all due respect, the above sheath is a different sheath from the first one you posted. My sheath and the first one have the same snap. Not the above one.? DM

Like this, as it carries the USA made label and I don't recall this sheath having the made in Mexico sticker. Does someone have that on their model? DM

David, are you saying that the sheath that came with your club knife (pictured above)has a "Made in the USA" label? Here's a picture of the one that came with mine and it has a "Made in Mexico"label.

David, the sheath shown in the catalog page isn't a picture of the actual sheath that comes with them. The one that comes with the Chairman's Series 110 is the sheath that I show in post #21 and is made in the USA. The one you posted and the one I show in posts #17 and #23 are the ones that came with the club knife and are (at least mine are) made in Mexico.

There are actually two versions of the USA made leather sheath. The other version came in the fancy box shown below and has the black and white snap, but it is otherwise identical to the one with the silver snap.

I really like the sheath that came with my chairman. I have wondered if you buy a 110 sheath from the website, will you get that one or the more traditional.

Traditional meaning made in Mex. If you get one off the Buck web site you'll get the Traditional sheath. In this day and age Traditional does mean Foreign made:(

I am not going to post what just came to mind. I would have to infract myself for trolling. You gentlemen please continue narrowing your outlook.

Are the older USA sheaths (70s, 80s) made of thicker leather? I don't own a Mexico sheath, so I have nothing to compare.
