• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

buck 110 or 112

I like the size of the 110, I edc one at work because it is sheeple friendly. The one I carry is the s30v from cabelas, the tip seems to be a little better on that one. I used it last year to field dress and skin a deer with no problems, and it was still shaving sharp afterwards.

I prefer the 110:thumbup:. Carried one while in the NAvy and for many years after. I now have a Cabalas Alaskan version in S30V. Sharp as a razor. The 110 is a classic and IMHO will deliver for most cutting needs.

I do Tholiver, THanks..seems like in addition to the 420 hc they offer the blade in s30v I don't know too much about that steel..but, once I research that a little I think nickel bolster, and elk horn scales might be nice...as for the 112 the blade is almost a full inch shorter than the 110 It was the knife I used growing up in the catskills... It imo crosses over into an edc size without being huge.

110 all the way. Partly because you can get a nicer version from the Custom Shop with some great steel.
