Buck 110 Slim pocket clip snapped

Just emailed the warranty department a few minutes ago asking if I could purchase a clip.

Ill share what the response is with all you fine folks.

Gone on a while now. How about I mail you a clip?

Thank you very much for the kind offer, it’s appreciated and testament to your generosity and this fantastic community. There’s no need to send me a clip, but thank you very much for offering.

I’m very satisfied with the Buck Slim line and am in no way disappointed that the clip broke. I am mostly interested to see if purchasing a new one from Buck is even an option.

Thank you again for such a gracious offer sir, Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you and your family!

And a quick note. If purchasing a new clip is not an available service, these great knives are so inexpensive it’s easy to pick up another!

Update, they shipped yesterday and emailed me a tracking number.

I’m pretty curious about the email though. It states “Your new knife is on its way”.

I assume that’s a standard response and not necessarily an indicator that they shipped a whole new knife.

I’m very happy with the service. I even sent an email how pleased I was and they took the time to answer that as well.

Update:

Received a very nice priority mail package with a new clip, pre-thread locker applied screws, two Buck stickers, a nice letter and a discount card to purchase on their online shop.

No charge for shipping or the clip.

Buck continues to confirm my loyalty to the company.

It’s very nice to see a company as large as Buck take the time to address “the little things”.

Well lightning strikes in the same place twice. Walking into the hardware store the clip rubbed on the handrail and “ping!”

I think maybe the clips could be a bit softer to allow bending rather than snapping?

I’m not gonna bother Buck again since I’m happy with the mileage I’ve got out of this work knife so far. It’s still a great pocket knife!

wow, bad luck there again, Sir. hard hit /pull or minor one?

I was walking and my hip rubbed on the wooden handrail. Nothing too excessive but definitely would cause a clip to bend.

It just seems like the metal could be a bit softer to allow bending. I also noted the break happened in the exact same place.

I suppose it might be worth calling. Bucks warranty and customer service is very good. It could be helpful to them to offer feedback.

Plus side, I give you Kudos for your responses regarding a broken pocket clip. Some has been known to go off the deep end if anything happens at all.
Things happen, Buck typically jumps on it.
