OK, How many of you had the Buck 110 as their first locking blade folder? I am one. My mother got me one for Xmas shortly after they came out. I gave it to my son but he got cityfied and quit using it so he gave it back to me. For Xmas:D

yep...boy scout knife, '70's model...ripped off last year @ the post office when sending it to buck for some rehab...

Hi udtjim -

Count me in!

I wore one on my belt back in the mid 70's, didn't everyone?
:D

best regards -

Not as my first one, as they are before my time. But I do have one and love the blade shape, although it is far too heavy to edc compared to modern knives.

Not my first blade, but the 110 was my first lockback. I keep it around the kitchen as a utility knife, works great!

Bought my first 110 in the PX at Camp Lejeune. Carried it all over Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. It was a hot commodity with European NATO soldiers, they would trade anything for it. Great knife but I always thought it should have a stronger tip.

The 110 was my first lockback. I bought it when I got out of highschool when I was on my first full time job and moved 100 miles from home. I ordered it from Cabelas. I carried it a lot. Well now I only carry it in my bag or pocket. As I am to fat to have it on my belt. Well I have not used a belt in a while. I sharpened it after I got my Gatco sharpener and it makes the hair on my arm jump off. :D

Yep the 110 was my first lockback. I was 16 and it was a gift. I broke the tip off on picnic table at the park I worked at. Reshaped the blade on a grinder. My ex took it. I miss it.

110 was my first lockback I got one for going from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts. I lost my first one in a boating accident but I replaced it. Now I keep a new one in my knife cabinet just in case I forget a birthday or something.

My grandfather gave me one when I turned 12 as a birthday present. I had it for a week before my mother took it from me. She doesnt like knives and she got irritated when I kept flipping it open. Im 19 and she still has it. :D

i've owned just about every buck model under the sun except the 110...what is wrong with me? :p

Count me in!

I had lost it for about 2 years and found it in an old backpack while cleaning out the garage recently.

Not a Buck 110, but a U.S. Schrade LB7, a 110 clone. I have a genuine 110 now, and it's more 'refined' and 'polished' than the U.S Schrades I have.

thx - cpr

My first lock back was a 110 clone by the manufacturer G-96 , back in the 70's. I still have it , but she's loose somewhat ! G-96 copied a lot of Buck stuff , including the 100 series. I think they had to stop making them because of copyright infringments , but I'm not sure.

Bought myself a Buck 112 just before Xmas.... just because I had to .

mine was a razor sharp puma look-alike.
in no time soon, the buck came in the second i lost the first...
naturally i have had more happy moments to speak of with the buck 110 than with any other lock back since.

I carried one when I was a kid because of the Dukes of Hazzard boys. Ha Ha!! I still have mine and love it just as much as I did back then but I dont carry it. Its a little on the Heavy side to me but then again, so am I.
