Buck 110s and 112s SLIMS

maybe but seem pretty close in thickness.......slims clip is less dramatic but longer on the spine......

I really wish they'd left the grind alone. It was my favorite part of the 110 and 112. That crisp line on the satin hollow grind. The stonewas softens it and makes it look less appealing in my opinion.

I'll probably still pick one or four up as they're hars to beat for the price, but I'd be a lot more excited if they hadn't ruined the grind.

Just ordered a 112 slim pro g10 from Buck. Back ordered.
Matt at Buck said at one time they were behind over 400 knives to dealers orders. But now only 65 behind. My wait shouldn’t be to long,I hope.

Just got my 112 red Slim.
I liked the black 112LT but the Slim is better imho.
First off this one [Slim] has zero blade play either vertically or horizontally.
I like the choice of having a clip too. This clip is nice . It rides pretty deep.
It's also secure without ripping your pants to shreds and if you don't like it just remove it.
I plan on getting more 112 Slims.
The 112LT shown with Slim is nice but feels thick after getting the Slim one and the Lt had noticeable side to side blade play. Vertical was fine.
All these new Bucks are wonderful. Glad to see Buck trying something different.

Hey! @Insipidmoniker! You asked about the thumbstud, can i pry and ask what your plan is?(zip wave it, just remove it all together, general curiosity)

I see a lot of possible variations with these slim models. Drop point and also the standard 110 clip blades, made available with standard and upgraded steels, of course!! I feel pretty confident that C&C and SK will be getting some special orders in to Buck at some point in the future. At least, I hope they do!!

Just got a 112 in G-10 in today, but it is not marked S30V on the back side of the blade like the pictures I have seen. I thought Buck usually marked them if they were not their standard steel.

Don't know? Call Buck or contact Jeff Hubbard on this forum and ask him...
