I have 3 identical buck 112 knives with natural micarta handles, brushed brass bolsters, and finger grooves. Blade steel is Magnacut on each. One knife has been used and the other two are unused. All three include brown leather belt sheath.

It's noticeably lighter. Especially with the brass milled out for the finger grooves. That probably does more than the micarta.
 
I got mine, and it is nice, he is a good person to deal with. Feels good in the hand. What surprised me is how much more I liked the brushed brass than the shiny brass.
