It's here. I like it. Haven't had a chance to "really" use it yet, but, what I see, I like. Nice little cutter.

I'll have to see what I can do. I was hoping that the "kids" (my deer herd) would be in the yard today. Haven't seen them all day. It's spring break so maybe they're visiting family on the other side of town.

I ordered one of the Boone and Crockett versions back on 1/31/11 and still haven't got it. I won't mention where I ordered it from (not Buck) but it was selling for the best price I'd found anywhere. I ordered one of the LE Elk and Turquoise handled Gen-5's at the same time. After the first month and no knives, I called and they said the 113 was back ordered, so I pitched a little fit and they went ahead and sent the Gen-5. I still don't have the 113, but I sent them an e-mail today and told them I was going to call my credit card company unless they refund for the 113 right away. I tried to cancel it before but they said it would cost me a 25% restocking fee because it was a special order!

If anyone wants to know who they are so you can avoid them, just e-mail me or send a message. I'll be more than happy to rat them out! :grumpy:

It is a nice little knife. The coffee crew will get their chance tomorrow. I may have to make me a different sheath. Nothing wrong with the Buck sheath, I just need something that fits my personality better.

I appreciate the help of friends, like hawkeye, plumberdv, and 300 Bucks for helping me get pictures up. I know zactly how to do it now---send them to one of these guys and let them post it! LOL

You might want to post that experience in the Good Bad and Ugly Forum to give folks a heads-up.
 
Hi Jack & All,

That is a real looker Jack. As a big fan of the Mini Alpha, I like the size of this little 113 and just love the blade profile. I may need to find one of those in stag....I think Ark's has one ;).
