Buck 119 Destruction Test

I have no problem with these kinds of “tests”. It’s his money and his time… and his hide (he’s cut himself a couple times doing his vids). No, you shouldn't do this to any knife and expect it to still be a knife. But that’s not the point. This particular Joe X guy does this to all knives. Some of it can be informative. In fact his two vids mentioned earlier on the 119 and 120 showed me how tough 420HC is, and the Gerber Strongarm to. I hade no idea it could be that tough. I thought 420HC had way less strength and impact tolerance vs say 1095. Now I know. I think I’ll me get a Buck 120 for my new pig-sticker!
And his vid confirmed to me that the Mora Craftline Pro Rubust (C) is about the best value fixed blade that $18 can buy.

All this talk of 119s has renewed my desire to own one. I don't know why. I don't have a use for a knife like that, so I'll just wait until the urge passes.
