funny I didn't either for a long time. I've come around few years ago to liking them..... but I tend to do that on some models. no interest and then I grow to like them. The pro series is awesome no doubt. I’ve been exercising extreme restraint because I already have multiple example of each model.
I’ve never seen a 119 with a broken tip before but I’m sure it’s possible. But not under normal use.
The Vanguard is one of only a very few Buck knives I have no interest in whatsoever. Go figure.
But, but, but I'm vaccinated and I'm still buying Buck knivesThis affliction is common here and is almost certainly contagious.
It is definitely contagious haha I’m unsure what to buy next. Either a vanguard or the 102. A custom 119 some day too. I also really want to get into the small traditional folders. Like the 303.I like the Vanguard, but if I had to choose between the two, I'd take the 119 Pro.
With Buck there are so many good options it can be difficult to choose which to buy and/or in what order. After a few years a better problem emerges... which to take along with you that day or on the next adventure. That can lead to buying knives just for the pleasure of collecting them. This affliction is common here and is almost certainly contagious.
My three favorites. I hope they'll offer a Pro series 117.Any suggestions on what I should look into next? Stainless or carbon is fine. Buck or any other brand. I’m not picky. Just looking for other knives similar to the 119 that I could check out.
The second best part of owning a 105 is it gets you into a very prestigious group here in the Buck forum. Awesome knife for taking game apart.

Same here, the 119 doesn’t work for my hands.I prefer the 124

The 124 handle is similar to the 119 but a bit more block-y, for lack of a better term.I’ve never handled a 124 before. Does it have smaller handles? Is it about the shape of the 119 handle or the size?

You are in great companyMan I’m starting to realize that I want every buck fixed blade…
thats why ya got the big hands like Jeff so it works for ya.I prefer the square-ish handle, it feels more secure in my big hands when theyre wet.
