Buck 124 Custom

what is that brass/aluminum/phonelic ?
could you get closer a pic of the handle of the one in the display

The Nemo is a factorey restoration with a satin fiished blade, made between 1967 abd 1971. The handle is alternating layers of polished brass and aluminum spacers with 5 wide spacers of blace micarta taken from an old Model 201 large kitchen knife. The guard and pommel are of stainless steel.




The early Buck Knife has stacked Lucite handles.

Dave... The knives are 12 1/16...6 5/8...6 3/4.. as shown.

i heard that there were apx or only 4 of the 12 1/16 made?
can you add any info to that as to how many there are for sure?
i have seen one at a show

Dave, I can't add any info on the long 124. I, like you, have only heard that there are four of them. I bought mine from a fellow BCC member. Maybe if Joe H. reads this, he may can tell us. It would be interesting to know.
